Dustin Byfuglien's wraparound went through the crease to Little, who beat goalie Aaron Dell with a slap shot from close range.

"It definitely felt good tonight, especially after the way that game went," Little said. "We got a really good start, and they clawed their way back into it. It was a good hockey game, back and forth. It's good to get the two points."
Joel Armia had two goals, and Mathieu Perreault scored for the Jets (29-13-7), who won their third straight game despite blowing three- and one-goal leads. Connor Hellebuyck made 29 saves.
Joe Pavelski, Logan Couture, Chris Tierney and Timo Meier scored for the Sharks (26-14-7), who lost for the first time in three games. Dell made 18 saves.
Sharks center Joe Thornton left the game with 40 seconds left in the third period with an apparent right-leg injury. San Jose forward Mikkel Boedker and Winnipeg defenseman Jacob Trouba were battling near the side boards and fell to the ice. Boedker slid into the back of Thornton's right leg, knocking him to the ice.
"We won't know anything probably until tomorrow at some point," Sharks coach Peter DeBoer said.
Thornton had offseason surgery to repair two torn ligaments in his left knee.
Sharks forward Tomas Hertl received a major penalty for boarding and a game misconduct at 8:13 of the first period after he hit Jets defenseman Dmitry Kulikov from behind, sending him face-first into the end boards. Kulikov did not return.
"He's going to get looked at tomorrow," Winnipeg coach Paul Maurice said. "He got stitched up pretty good. Said he was feeling all right after the game, but we won't really have a better understanding of where he's at until tomorrow."
Armia beat Dell short side from the right face-off circle at 11:38 of the third period to put Winnipeg ahead 4-3, but Meier scored on the rebound of a Marc-Edouard Vlasic shot to tie it 4-4 at 15:20.

"I think it's good to get a point out of this game," Meier said. "They're a good team. They have a lot of speed, they have a lot of skill. For us to battle back, I think it shows the chemistry on our team and shows that even from being down we can come back."
The Jets scored on three of their first four shots to take a 3-0 lead.
Nikolaj Ehlers' shot went in off Perreault's skate to make it 1-0 18 seconds into the game, and Armia made it 2-0 with a wrist shot from close range at 4:32.
Little deflected Tyler Myers' shot past Dell for a power-play goal to make it 3-0 at 11:56.
The Sharks scored three straight goals to tie it.
Pavelski started the rally with 56 seconds left in the first when he scored from the slot to make it 3-1.
Couture scored at 9:38 of the second period to make it 3-2. He lost control of the puck in the left circle, but spun clockwise and beat Hellebuyck with a slap shot to the short side.
Tierney one-timed a cross-ice pass from Thornton from the right circle on the power play to tie it 3-3 at 13:25 of the second.
"We let it slip a bit when they tied the score," Myers said. "You don't want to give up the lead, but you stick with the game plan. I thought the last 21 minutes we played very well."

They said it

"We were positive going out there for the third that we could do it. Tied into the third, that's not a bad thing."-- Jets forward Bryan Little
"It starts with our leadership. Those guys, you don't have to say much as a coach. They know. I think there's a feeling that we're never out of a game. I think when you have special players and special leaders like that, that's a nice feeling because you know that as long as there's time on the clock we can still get back in the game." -- Sharks coach Peter DeBoer
