Winnipeg Jets' Evander Kane opts to have season-ending shoulder surgery @NHLdotcom

WINNIPEG - Winnipeg Jets forward Evander Kane will undergo left shoulder surgery and be out of the lineup for four to six months.

Head coach Paul Maurice made the announcement today.

Kane has 22 points in 37 games this season but was a healthy scratch for Tuesday's game against Vancouver.
