TORONTO - Windsor Spitfires forward Taylor Hall was named the Ontario Hockey League's player of the week on Tuesday.
He led all OHL scorers with seven points (3-4) in three games last week. Hall had a goal and an assist in a 4-3 shootout loss to Belleville last Thursday. He added a goal and two assists in a 3-0 win over Sault Ste. Marie on Friday and had a goal and an assist in a 4-3 overtime win over Saginaw on Saturday.
Hall, a 16-year-old from Kingston, Ont., was the second overall pick in the OHL priority selection last May.
