BARRIE, Ont. - Clint Windsor made 24 saves to lead the Barrie Colts to an 2-1 victory over the Mississauga St. Michael's Majors in Ontario Hockey League action Thursday.
Eric Locke and Ivan Telegin scored for Barrie (18-11-3), which ended a 10-game regular-season winless streak against the Majors.
Zach Hall added a pair of assists for the Colts in his first game back from injury.
Jamie Wise had the lone goal for Mississauga (14-14-4), which has lost three in a row and nine of its last 12.
Mika Partanen appeared to tie the game in the third period on a rebound attempt, but the goal was immediately waved off as the whistle had blown.
The Colts struck once again with the man advantage, going 1-for-5 on the night. Mississauga ended the evening 0-for-3.
Barrie played its second consecutive game without Tanner Pearson or Mark Scheifele. Both have made the Canadian squad for the upcoming world junior championships.
Mississauga's J.P. Anderson made 29 saves in defeat.
