Wilson's game winner paces big third period as Owen Sound downs Kitchener 5-2 @NHLdotcom

KITCHENER, Ont. - Garrett Wilson scored the game winner with 3:55 left in the third period as the Owen Sound Attack roared back to beat the Kitchener Rangers 5-2 in Ontario Hockey League action Friday.

Wilson added an assist on Steven Shipley's insurance goal with 1:51 remaining as the Attack (1-0-1-0) rallied from a 2-0 deficit with five third-period goals. Lane MacDermid, Joey Hishon and Marcus Carroll added singles.

Kevin Hudes and Simon Gronvaldt replied for the Rangers (1-1-0-0), who outshot Owen Sound 54-36 in defeat.

Tyler Beskorowany was sensational in goal for the Attack, stopping 52 shots to earn the win.

Josh Unice made 31 saves for Kitchener.
