Wilson's first career hat trick lifts London past Sarnia 5-2 @NHLdotcom

LONDON, Ont. - Jason Wilson scored a pair of power-play goals and added one while shorthanded as the London Knights topped the Sarnia Sting 5-2 on Sunday afternoon in the Ontario Hockey League.

Wilson, a rookie forward from Richmond Hill, Ont., opened the scoring on a power-play at 17:05 of the first period. His shorthanded goal at 12:50 of the second period extended the Knights' lead to 3-0, and he completed his first career hat trick midway through the third.

John Carlson had a goal and three assists while Justin Taylor added a single as London (24-7-0-1) won for the 13th time in its past 15 games.

Ben O'Quinn and Jordan Hill answered for the Sting (15-15-2-2).

Michael Zador earned the win with a 37-save performance for London.

Dan Spence also stopped 37 shots for Sarnia.
