William Karlsson will be out 4-6 weeks for the Vegas Golden Knights because of a broken foot.

The center was hit by a shot during a 5-4 shootout win against the Anaheim Ducks on Oct. 29. He has three points (one goal, two assists) in eight games this season.
The Golden Knights are also without forwards Mark Stone (lower body), Max Pacioretty (lower body), Alex Tuch (shoulder), Nolan Patrick (upper body) and Mattias Janmark (upper body), and defenseman Zach Whitecloud (upper body).
Karlsson scored 39 points (14 goals, 25 assists) in 56 games last season. He is first in Golden Knights history in goals (97) and second in assists (125) and points (222), trailing forward Jonathan Marchessault in each (135 assists, 229 points).
