Wild's Zucker skates, questionable to return to lineup

by NHL.com Staff / NHL.com

Though Minnesota Wild left wing Jason Zucker remains questionable to return to the lineup Saturday against the Colorado Avalanche, the team did receive a positive sign Friday when the 21-year-old forward joined the team for its morning skate at Xcel Energy Center.

Zucker left Tuesday's game against the Anaheim Ducks after receiving an illegal hit to the head from Corey Perry in the second period, and did not return. Perry was given a four-game suspension by the NHL's Departement of Player Safety on Wednesday.

Rob Blake of the NHL's Department of Player Safety called the hit by Perry "a late, illegal check."

Zucker, who sat out Thursday's 5-3 home victory against the Colorado Avalanche, will travel with the team to Denver for the back end of a home-and-home set Saturday.
