Wild players scheduled to take part in the weekend festivities include Zach Parise, Jason Zucker, Gustav Olofsson, Luke Kunin, Nick Seeler and newly-acquired forward Matt Hendricks. The Wild coaching staff will also take part, including Head Coach Bruce Boudreau, along with General Manager Paul Fenton and Assistant General Manager Tom Kurvers. A variety of NHL players and alumni will also be on hand, including former Wild players Keith Ballard, Andrew Brunette, Ryan Carter, Antti Laaksonen, Jordan Leopold, Richard Park and Mark Parrish.
The Wild on the Water Bass Fishing Tournament, presented by Alumacraft, will take place on Saturday, July 14 from 8 a.m. to noon. Each boat will include a celebrity, a fishing guide and a paid participant. All fishing tournament participants are required to have a valid Minnesota fishing license. Fishing celebrities are subject to change.
The registration fee to participate in the tournament includes four hours of fishing on July 14, a gift package featuring fishing gear and Wild apparel and four tickets to a VIP event that will take place at Izatys Resort on Friday, July 13. Fans can also attend the free Bash on the Beach event on July 14 from noon to 3 p.m. at Izatys Resort. This fun, outdoor event will feature an opportunity to get autographs, photos and participate in interactive games with celebrities, and watch the fishing tournament final weigh-in. Food and drinks will also be available for purchase.
