Wild GM Guerin throws out first pitch at Minnesota Twins game

New guy in charge chucks a strike to ovation from excited fans

One of Bill Guerin's first duties as Minnesota Wild general manager wasn't a home run, it was a strike.

Guerin, who was announced as the new GM of the Wild on Wednesday, threw out the first pitch at Friday's Minnesota Twins game.

A four-time Stanley Cup champion, Guerin tossed a strike before the Twins hosted the Detroit Tigers.

No word on if he ate at the stadium, but it probably included peanut butter and a side of pickles.
