JETS (10-11-2) at WILD (11-6-3)

Season series: The Winnipeg Jets and Minnesota Wild have split two games, with each winning on home ice. Minnesota won 5-3 at Xcel Energy Center on Nov. 10. Winnipeg's Bryan Little leads all scorers with five points (three goals). Thomas Vanek leads the Wild with two goals and three points.

Jets team scope: Winnipeg has lost eight of its past 10 games, including six in a row on the road. "Everyone can find a little more to get this thing going consistently in the right direction," captain Andrew Ladd told the Winnipeg Sun on Thursday. "It's not all right to (just) play a good hockey game. In this league, you have to find a way to make things happen night in and night out. For us, a lot of times, it's (about) how we work." Rookie goalie Connor Hellebuyck will get the start and make his NHL debut. The Jets placed goalie Ondrej Pavelec on injured reserve Monday with a sprained knee; he'll be out at least through December.

Wild team scope: Minnesota will get back forward Zach Parise, who practiced Thursday for the first time since spraining his right knee Nov. 5. Despite missing eight full games and most of another, Parise's seven goals are second on the Wild. "Adding one player gives you so many more options," coach Mike Yeo said. Goaltender Devan Dubnyk will make his 19th start in 21 games.
