Here is a look at how the Stanley Cup Playoff picture could clarify Tuesday night.


EASTERN CONFERENCE


No. 3 New Jersey Devils can clinch the Atlantic Division:

* If they get at least one point against the Toronto Maple Leafs.

OR

* If the Philadelphia Flyers get one or no points against the Florida Panthers.



No. 4 Philadelphia Flyers can clinch an Eastern Conference playoff berth:


* If they get at least one point against the Florida Panthers.

OR

* If the New York Rangers get one or no points against the Montreal Canadiens.



No. 6 Pittsburgh Penguins can clinch an Eastern Conference playoff berth:


* If they beat the Tampa Bay Lightning.

OR

* If they get one point against Tampa Bay and either the Florida Panthers or New York Rangers get one or no points in games against Philadelphia and Montreal, respectively.

OR

* If they get no points against Tampa Bay and either the Florida Panthers or New York Rangers get no points in games against Philadelphia and Montreal, respectively.



No. 7 Montreal Canadiens can clinch an Eastern Conference playoff berth:

* If they beat the New York Rangers.

OR

* If they get one point against the New York Rangers and the Florida Panthers get no points against the Philadelphia Flyers.



WESTERN CONFERENCE

No. 3 Calgary Flames can clinch the Northwest Division:

* If they beat the Vancouver Canucks in regulation.
