WHL Roundup: Max Gerlach has three-point night to lead Tigers over Chiefs @NHLdotcom

MEDICINE HAT, Alta. - Max Gerlach scored twice and added an assist as the Medicine Hat Tigers toppled the Spokane Chiefs 6-2 on Wednesday night in Western Hockey League action.

Caleb Fantillo and Mason Shaw added a goal and an assist each for the Tigers (5-6-1) while Matt Bradley and Steven Owre rounded out the attack.

Markson Bechtold and Nik Andersen supplied the offence for Spokane (4-7-2).

Nick Schneider kicked out 23 shots for the win in net. Tyson Verheist made 26 saves for the Chiefs.

Medicine Hat was 0 for 2 on the power play while Spokane scored once on three opportunities.



PRINCE ALBERT, Sask. ? Rylan Parenteau stopped all 24 shots he faced and Drew Warkentine scored the first of three goals in the third period for the Raiders as they blanked Edmonton.

Reid Gardiner, Matteo Gennaro and Simon Stransky had the other goals for Prince Albert (11-2-1), which won its seventh straight.

Patrick Dea turned aside 29 shots for the Oil Kings (3-8-3), who dropped their eighth in a row.



KAMLOOPS, B.C. ??? Jermaine Loewen had a goal and an assist as the Blazers routed Prince George.

Gage Quinney, Matt Revel, Matt Needham, Jesse Zaharichuk and Deven Sideroff supplied the rest of the offence for Kamloops (4-8-0).

Jared Bethune scored in the second period on the power play for the Cougars (6-6-0).



VANCOUVER ??? Ryley Lindgren struck twice as Lethbridge beat the Giants for its seventh-straight victory.

Tyler Wong added a goal and two assists for the Hurricanes (10-2-0), who also got goals from Giorgio Estephan and Cory Millette. Brayden Burke chipped in with three assists.

Alec Baer and Haydn Hopkins had goals for Vancouver (4-7-2), which dropped its fourth in a row.



PORTLAND, Ore. ??? Dominic Turgeon had a pair of goals as the Winterhawks got past Tri-City.

Rodrigo Abols, Colton Veloso and Keoni Texeira rounded out the attack for Portland (6-6-0), which has won four straight.

Jordan Topping and Beau McCue scored for the Americans (4-8-1).



EVERETT, Wash. ??? Reid Duke scored the lone goal in the shootout as Brandon slipped past the Silvertips.

Rihards Bukarts and Braylon Shmyr had goals in regulation for the Wheat Kings (9-3-2), who outshot their opponents 41-22.

Carson Stadnyk and Dario Winkler found the back of the net for Everett (5-3-1).
