WHL Roundup: Jayce Hawryluk scores four as Wheat Kings shut out Pats

REGINA - Jayce Hawryluk carried the Brandon Wheat Kings on Saturday night.

He scored four times, including three on the power play, and added an assist as Brandon blanked the Regina Pats 6-0 in Western Hockey League action.

Jordan Papirny had the shutout ? making 16 saves in goal.

John Quenneville added a goal and two assists and Reid Duke had the other for the Wheat Kings (2-1-1). Nolan Patrick had three assists while Ivan Provorov, Kale Clague and Macoy Erkamps tacked on two helpers apiece.

Daniel Wapple started in net for Regina (1-2-0), turning away 22-of-28 shots in 38:45. Tyler Brown came on in relief and stopped all 13 shots he faced.

Both teams combined for 120 penalty minutes.

Quenneville, along with Regina's Connor Hobbs and Austin Wagner were all ejected at 18:50 on the third period for fighting.

Brandon finished the game 4 for 10 with the man advantage. The Pats were scoreless on four chances.

Kole Lind, Justin Kirkland, Tyson Baillie and Calvin Thurkauf scored for Kelowna (3-2-0).

CRANBROOK, B.C. ??? Giorgio Estephan had a goal and three assists as Lethbridge downed the Ice.

Cory Millette, Jordy Bellerive, Ryley Lindgren and Brayden Burke supplied the rest of the offence for the Hurricanes (2-1-0).

Jon Martin replied on the power play in the third period for Kootenay (1-3-0).

RAIDERS 5 TIGERS 4 (OT)

PRINCE ALBERT, Sask. ??? Reid Gardiner scored the winner 18 seconds into overtime and added another in regulation as the Raiders edged Medicine Hat.

Jesse Lees, Cal Babych and Austin Glover also chipped in for Prince Albert (3-1-0). Simon Stransky tacked on three assists.

Steven Owre struck twice for the Tigers (2-2-0), with Matt Bradley and Cole Sanford adding the others.

MOOSE JAW, Sask. ??? Noah Gregor had two goals and an assist as the Warriors snapped Calgary's three-game winning streak.

Dallas Valentine, Jayden Halbgewachs, Brayden Point and Dryden Hunt supplied the rest of the offence for Moose Jaw (2-0-1).

Chase Lang, Radel Fazleev and Terrell Draude found the back of the net for the Hitmen (3-1-0).

PORTLAND, Ore. ??? Devon Skoleski struck twice, including once on the power play, as Everett beat the Winterhawks.

Montreal Canadiens prospect Noah Juulsen also scored for the Silvertips (2-1-0).

Rodrigo Abols opened the scoring for Portland (0-3-0) in the first period.

KENNEWICK, Wash. ??? Dominic Zwerger scored seven seconds into overtime and added another in regulation as Spokane edged the Americans.

Jason Fram also had a pair of goals for the Chiefs (2-1-0). Zwerger and Fram added an assist each.

Jordan Topping, Vladislav Lukin and Parker Bowles scored for Tri-City (0-2-0).

Spokane's Jacob Cardiff was ejected at 6:34 of the first period after receiving a major penalty for charging.
