WHL Roundup: Brayden Point powers Warriors to 10-2 victory over Hitmen @NHLdotcom

CALGARY - Brayden Point scored two goals and assisted on two more to power the Moose Jaw Warriors to a 10-2 win over the Calgary Hitmen on Thursday in Western Hockey League action.

Noah Gregor added two goals and an assist for Moose Jaw (4-1-2), Jesse Shynkaruk, Ryan Bowen, Nikita Popugaev and Brett Howden had a goal and a helper apiece, and Tanner Faith and Brayden Watts also scored.

Pavel Karnaukhov and Layne Bensmiller supplied the offence for the Hitmen (5-1-1).

Warriors goaltender Zach Sawchenko made 31 saves for the victory.

Kyle Dumba started in net for Calgary, giving up five goals on 19 shots through 33:52. Lasse Petersen stopped 8-of-13 shots the rest of the way.

Moose Jaw was 2 for 4 with the man advantage. The Hitmen failed to take advantage of their three power-play opportunities.
