WHL Roundup: A look at Sunday's games @NHLdotcom

Brandon Davidson provided the spark the Regina Pats needed on Sunday.

Davidson scored late in the third and added an assist to help Regina rally for a 4-3 win over the Prince Albert Raiders in the Western Hockey League.

Lane Scheidl had two goals and an assist for Regina, Jordan Weal had three assists and Chandler Stephenson had a goal and an assist.

Mike Winther had a goal and an assist for Prince Albert, and a goal each from Justin Maylan and Mark McNeill.

The two teams swapped a pair of goals in the first two periods to send it to the third tied 2-2.

Early in the third, McNeill struck shorthanded to put the Raiders up 3-2.

But a night after scoring six unanswered goals in the third to steal a victory from Brandon, the Pats once again clawed their way back.

Midway through the period Scheidl tied it up on the power play with his 26th of the season.

Then with just 21 seconds before the buzzer Davidson blasted in a point for the game winner.

Regina went 2-for-7 with the extra man and killed off all three of Prince Albert's power plays.

Elsewhere in the WHL it was: Edmonton 3 Saskatoon 1, Tri-City 4 Portland 3 and Vancouver 6 Victoria 0.

At Regina, Adam Beukeboom made 23 saves to earn the win the Pats (35-24-7).

Cole Holowenko stopped 30 shots for Prince Albert (20-39-6).

Oil Kings 3 Blades 1

At Edmonton, Michael St. Croix's second-period goal was the difference as the Oil Kings beat Saskatoon.

T.J. Foster and Curtis Lazar ??? with a power-play goal in the final minute of regulation ??? also scored for Edmonton (44-15-7).

Jake Trask's goal late in the third was all the offence the Blades (36-27-3) could manage.

Americans 4 Winterhawks 3

At Portland, Ore., Justin Feser scored in the final minute of regulation as Tri-City defeated the Winterhawks.

Feser, who also had two assists, scored the only even-strength goal that Tri City (46-17-3) had, as Brendan Shinnimin, Conner Rankin and Adam Hughesman also scored.

Sven Bartschi scored twice, including a power-play goal for Portland (46-16-4). Toronto Maple Leafs prospect Brad Ross had the other goal for the Winterhawks.

Giants 6 Royals 0

At Victoria, Adam Morrison made 18 saves as Vancouver shut out the Royals.

Riley Kieser, David Musil, Tyler Vanscourt, Matt Bellerive, Jackson Houck and Cain Franson each scored for the Giants (37-25-4).

Jared Rathjen stopped 26 shots for Victoria (21-39-6) before being replaced by Keith Hamilton, who made five saves in the third.
