Wheat Kings beat Regina Pats 6-2 in Western Hockey League action @NHLdotcom

BRANDON, Man. - The Brandon Wheat Kings scored four goals on just eight shots on their way to a 6-2 victory over the Regina Pats in Western Hockey League action Tuesday night.

Alexander Urbom scored two goals, while Toni Rajala, Matt Calvert, Mark Schneider and Scott Glennie added singles for the Wheat Kings (38-16-4).

Hampus Gustafsson and Myles Bell, with his first WHL goal, replied for the Pats, who fell to 24-26-7.

Brandon netminder Jacob De Serres made 18 saves.

Damien Ketlo stopped 12 of 16 shots for Regina before being replaced in the second period by Dawson Guhle, who made 15 saves on 17 shots.

Brandon's win moves the Wheat Kings into sole possession of first place in the Eastern Conference.
