Whalers raise awareness for breast cancer while hammering Belleville 6-1 @NHLdotcom

PLYMOUTH, Mich. - The Plymouth Whalers sported pink jerseys and pink hairdos to raise awareness for breast cancer on Saturday night, when they pummelled the Belleville Bulls 6-1 in Ontario Hockey League action.

It was once again the Tyler Seguin show for the Whalers (9-5-0) as the 2010 NHL draft prospect scored two goals and added two assists. Seguin has been held without a point in just two of Plymouth's 14 games this season and is second in OHL scoring with 30 points.

Newly-acquired Josh Brittain scored his first goal in a Whalers' uniform after getting picked up from Barrie on Friday. Tyler J. Brown, Josh Bemis and rookie Austin Mattson also scored for Plymouth.

Adam Payerl scored the lone goal for the Bulls (4-9-1-0), who got a 30-save outing from rookie goalie Tyson Teichmann, their top pick from the 2009 OHL draft.

Matt Hackett stopped 34 shots for Plymouth.
