Wells scores pair as Seattle Thunderbirds down Prince George Cougars 4-1 @NHLdotcom

KENT, Wash. - Charles Wells scored twice and added an assist to lead the Seattle Thunderbirds to a 4-1 win over the Prince George Cougars in Western Hockey League play Saturday night.

Prab Rai added his 24th goal of the season and Burke Gallimore, acquired in a trade on Friday from Saskatoon, scored his first for Seattle (14-23-6) and 13th of the season.

Bruin McDonald replied for Prince George (9-32-2).

Goaltender Calvin Pickard finished with 31 saves to pick up the win for Seattle.

The win lifted snapped a five-game losing streak for the Thunderbirds.
