Wednesday's QMJHL roundup @NHLdotcom

Joel Champagne scored three times for Victoriaville as the Tigres beat the Acadie-Bathurst Titan 7-4 in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action Wednesday.

Yannick Dube added a pair of goals, while Brandon Hynes and Philip-Michael Devos also scored for Victoriavile (34-14-2). Dube, Phillip Danault and Chris Doyle each chipped in with two assists.

Eric Faille with two, Taylor Lambke and Bryce Milson replied for Acadie-Bathurst (18-28-5). Faille also added an assist.

Elsewhere in the QMHJL it was: Halifax 6 Lewiston 5 (SO); P.E.I. 4 Val-d'Or 1; and Quebec 10 Rimouski 4.

At Bathurst, N.B., tied 4-4 after two periods, Dube scored at 1:56 of the third to give the Titan the lead.

Dube and Champagne added empty-netters in the last 90 seconds to seal the 7-4 win.

Mooseheads 6 Maineiacs 5 (SO)

At Lewiston, Maine, Tomas Knotek and Gerrad Grant scored in the shootout for Halifax.

Mooseheads netminder Peter Delmas stopped 24 shots in regulation and overtime before stoning both Jess Tanguy and Matthew Bissonnette in the shootout.

Gerrad Grant, Travis Randell, Jessyko Bernard, Carl Gelinas and Garrett Clarke scored in regulation for Halifax (11-35-4).

Pierre-Olivier Morin, Matt Boyle, Michael Chaput, Jess Tanguy and Billy Lacasse - who sent the game to overtime on a goal with two seconds left in regulation - replied for Lewiston (17-29-3).


Rocket 4 Foreurs 1

At Charlottetown, P.E.I., Evan Mosher made 28 saves as the Rocket down Val-d'Or.

Eric Bouchard, Michael Stinziani, Benjamin Casavant and Jonathan Bonneau score for P.E.I. (28-18-6).

Samuel Morneau replied for the Foreurs (18-26-5).


Remparts 10 Oceanic 4

At Rimouski, Que., Mikhail Stefanovich scored four times as the Remparts pounded the Oceanic.

Marc-Olivier Vallerand added a pair of his own, while Danick Paquette, Jason Rajotte, Etienne St-Germain and Jonathan Audy-Marchessault also scored for Quebec (29-14-7).

Alexandre Mallet, Gleason Fournier, Michael Beaudry and Ryan Kavanagh replied for Rimouski (24-19-6).
