Wednesday's QMJHL roundup @NHLdotcom

MONTREAL - Stephen Horyl and Viktor Hertzberg each scored twice for Cape Breton as the Screaming Eagles downed the Montreal Junior 6-2 in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action Wednesday.

Nick MacNeil and Myles Micallef also scored for Cape Breton (6-4-2). Francis Meilleur had three assists, while Mathieu Brodeur and Luke Adam each added two of their own.

Olivier Roy made 21 saves to pick up the win.

In the only other game in the QMJHL it was: Rimouski 4 Chicoutimi 2.

At Montreal, Elizer Sherbatov had a goal and an assist, while Nicholas Chouinard also scored for the Junior (7-5-0).

Jean-Francois Berube allowed five goals on 23 shots for Montreal. Jake Allen relieved Berube in the second and allowed a goal on 10 shots.

Oceanic 4 Sagueneens 2

At Chicoutimi, Que., Gleason Fournier had a goal and an assist for Rimouski.

Petr Straka and Felix Lefrancois also score for the Oceanic (5-4-3)

Alexandre Roy and Jacob Lagace replied for Chicoutimi (5-5-3).
