Wedgwood 32 saves, Miller two goals and assist as Whalers beat Greyhounds 8-0 @NHLdotcom

PLYMOUTH, Mich. - J.T. Miller scored twice and set up one more as the Plymouth Whalers shutout the visiting Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds 8-0 on Saturday in Ontario Hockey League action.

Rickard Rakell also scored two goals for the Whalers (31-12-3), Stefan Noesen had a goal and two assists while Alex Aleardi, Beau Schmitz and Andy Bathgate each had a goal and an assist.

Scott Wedgewood made 32 saves for his third shutout of the season as Matt Murray allowed all eight goals on 37 shots through the first two periods.

Jack Cambell played the third and stopped all six shots he faced.

Plymouth went 3 for 7 on the power play while Sault Ste. Marie went 0 for 6.
