Weal scores in overtime to lift the Pats over the Warriors 3-2 @NHLdotcom

MOOSE JAW, Sask. - Jordan Weal scored the winning goal 30 seconds into overtime, and assisted on one other, as the Regina Pats defeated the visiting Moose Jaw Warriors 3-2 on Saturday in Western Hockey League action.

Lane Scheidl and Dominik Volek scored in regulation time for the Pats (26-17-6), who snapped a three-game losing streak.

Cody Beach and Eric Arnold had a goal apiece for the Warriors (28-14-6), who had their three-game winning streak halted.

Matt Hewitt made 32 saves for the win while Spencer Tremblay turned aside 28 shots in defeat.

Regina went 1 for 4 on the power play as Moose Jaw failed to score on six opportunities with the man advantage.
