Weal has three points as the Pats defeat the Silvertips 5-2 @NHLdotcom

EVERETT, Wash. - Jordan Weal had two goals and an assist, leading the Regina Pats to a 5-2 victory over the Everett Silvertips on Friday night in Western Hockey League action.

Dominik Volek, Chandler Stephenson and Matt Marantz also scored for Regina (13-10-2).

Kohl Bauml and Josh Birkholz scored for Everett (5-16-4).

Matt Hewitt earned the win, making 23 saves.

Austin Lotz stopped 13 of 16 shots in goal before being pulled late in the first period. Kent Simpson stopped 11 of 13 in relief.

Regina went 2-for-7 on the power play while Everett went 1-for-2.
