Watson caps comeback with OT winner as Prince George downs Portland 4-3 @NHLdotcom

PORTLAND, Ore. - Marcus Watson scored the game-winner at 2:07 of overtime as the Prince George Cougars rallied to defeat the Portland Winterhawks 4-3 in Western Hockey League play on Friday night.

Prince George got third-period goals from Brian Matte and Brett Connolly, who scored the tying goal with three seconds left and an extra attacker on the ice. Matte also scored in the first period for the Cougars (13-19-0-1).

Portland got a goal and an assist from Radim Valchar and Luke Walker. Killian Hutt had the other goal for the Winter Hawks (8-23-1-0). Chris Francis added two assists.

Prince George goalie Kevin Armstrong made 24 saves for the win, while Kurtis Mucha stopped 45 shots.
