GUELPH, Ont. - Patrick Watling scored once and set up two more as the Guelph Storm defeated the visiting Sudbury Wolves 7-2 on Sunday in Ontario Hockey League play.
Ryan Horvat, Jason Dickinson and Scott Kosmachuk each had a goal and an assist for the Storm (34-20-5) while Brody Milne, Zac Leslie and Cody McNaughton scored the others.
Michael Kantor scored both goals for the Wolves (26-23-11), who have dropped back-to-back contests.
Guelph's Garret Sparks made 24 saves for the win as Sudbury's Taylor Dupuis took the loss after allowing six goals on 21 shots. Franky Palazzese replaced Dupuis in the second period and stopped 14-of-15 shots in 24 minutes of relief.
The Storm went 1 for 2 on the power play while the Wolves failed to score on three chances with the man advantage.
