NEW YORK - Washington Capitals forward Tom Wilson has been suspended for three games for an illegal check to the head of Pittsburgh Penguins forward Zach Aston-Reese during Game 3 of the teams' Second Round series in Pittsburgh on Tuesday, May 1, the National Hockey League's Department of Player Safety announced today.
