Nats Caps

When the playoffs come, you have to bring your whole dojo with you.

The Washington Nationals donned "Cobra Kai"-style headbands in a nod to the Washington Capitals on the night of their Stanley Cup First Round opener against the Boston Bruins. Each headband had the Capitals logo and the phrase "ALL CAPS" in similar font to the popular Netflix TV series.

Near the start of the season, Capitals coach Peter Laviolette
told the team that "Cobra Kai" was the best series he watched
while having the year away from coaching and that the team's post-game awards would be based on the show.
He gave out a Miyago-Do headband for the game's best defensive player and a Cobra Kai dojo headband for the game's best attacking offensive player.
It was a ritual the Capitals ran with all season. They even adopted the saying "Pain does not exist in this dojo," the Cobra Kai mantra.
So in support of the Capitals, the Nationals shared photos of players Trea Turner, Josh Bell, Kyle Schwarber and Josh Harrison all wearing the headbands. Yan Gomes wore a Capitals baseball cap while taking batting practice.
The Capitals couldn't get enough of the photos.
