Ovechkin, Capitals sing 'We Are The Champions' during locker room party

After winning Stanley Cup, team goes for spontaneous cover of Queen classic

In case you haven't yet heard, the Washington Capitals are the champions... of the world.

The Capitals wild locker room celebration featured rejoicing players, sprayed drinks and plenty of cheering.

It also featured an impromptu cover of legendary rock band Queen's "We Are The Champions."

Conn Smythe Trophy winner Alex Ovechkin and the boys did a top-of-their-lungs karaoke version of the stadium anthem following their Game 5 win over the Vegas Golden Knights on Thursday.

And why not? They are, after all, the champions.
