Are you a Washington Capitals fan who went to the game against the Minnesota Wild at Xcel Energy Center on Thursday? You should contact Capitals owner Ted Leonsis.
When Capitals captain Alex Ovechkin completed his hat trick with his third goal of the second period, a number of fans tossed their hats on the ice.
It's rare when a visiting player is honored that way, and Leonsis was paying attention.

He tweeted that he would replace the hat of any fan who tossed them on the ice in Minnesota.
"Who threw the hats in Minny? Let me know and thank you. Good road win," Leonsis wrote on his verified Twitter feed.
When one fan responded that her friend and his son threw their Capitals hats, Leonsis wrote, "I shall replace your Caps hat, thank you for honoring Alex on the road, very classy."
