Wallen has natural hat trick and adds assist as Majors edge Frontenacs 4-3 @NHLdotcom

KINGSTON, Ont. - William Wallen had three goals and an assist as the Mississauga St. Michael's Majors held on for a 4-3 win over the Kingston Frontenacs in Ontario Hockey League action Wednesday.

Wallen scored a natural hat trick in the second period to break a 1-1 tie and give the Majors a three-goal lead. They needed all of it as Kingston came back to make it close.

Devante Smith-Pelly had a goal and an assist to round out the scoring for the Majors (9-3-0).

Derek Froats, Mitch Lebar and Nathan Moon replied for Kingston (7-8-0).

Tyler Beskorowany had a busy night in the Kingston goal and did his best to keep his team in the game, making 44 saves.

Chris Carrozzi stopped 31 shots for the Majors.
