Wahl's goal, three assists lead Spokane's 9-1 trouncing of Everett @NHLdotcom

EVERETT, Wash. - Mitch Wahl led a balanced attack with a goal and three assists as the Spokane Chiefs routed the Everett Silvertips 9-1 Wednesday night in WHL action.

Spokane scored seven of its goals in the final 25 minutes as the Chiefs turned it into a laugher. Levko Koper, Brady Calla, Ondrej Roman, Drayson Bowman, Tyler Johnson, Jared Cowen, Jared Spurgeon and Stefan Ulmer were the goal scorers for Spokane, which outshot Everett 52-20.

Dustin Tokarski made 19 saves to earn the win in goal for Spokane (31-14-0-3), which won its ninth straight.

Cameron Abney scored his first career WHL goal for Everett (21-22-6-1), which lost its seventh straight and suffered its worst defeat in franchise history. Thomas Heemskerk stopped 43 shots in goal for the Silvertips.
