Wahl, Johnson score in the third period to help Chiefs rally past Hitmen 3-2

CALGARY - Mitch Wahl and Tyler Johnson scored goals 24 seconds apart in the third period to lead the Spokane Chiefs to a 3-2 win over the Calgary Hitmen in WHL action Sunday.

Kyle Beach chipped in with a goal and two assists for the Chiefs (14-8-1-0), who snapped Calgary's eight-game winning streak at the Pengrowth Saddledome.

Kris Foucault and Joel Broda scored for the Hitmen (19-8-0-0).

Spokane goalie James Reid made 24 saves, while his Calgary counterpart Martin Jones stopped 19-of-22 shots.
