Wahl has eventual winner as Spokane Chiefs earn 5-2 win over Tri-City @NHLdotcom

SPOKANE, Wash. - Mitch Wahl had the eventual winner as the Spokane Chiefs earned a 5-2 win against the Tri-City Americans in Western Hockey League play Saturday night.

Kyle Beach, Levko Koper, Brady Brassart and Kenton Miller rounded out the offence for Spokane (39-21-4), while James Reid stopped 31 shots for the win.

Patrick Holland opened scoring for Tri-City (43-17-3), while Neal Prokop added a marker. Drew Owsley made 25 saves on 28 shots before giving way to Alexander Pechurskiy who stopped one of two shots.
