Pittsburgh Penguins captain Sidney Crosby found himself in the wrong bench area during Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final at SAP Center on Monday.

Crosby was checked into the San Jose Sharks bench by defenseman Marc-Edouard Vlasic with 8:23 left in the first period. Crosby went through an open door but exited quickly.

Vlasic was penalized for interference, and the Sharks killed the power play.
