Vinny Saponari nets only shootout goal as Admirals slip past Moose @NHLdotcom

WINNIPEG - Vinny Saponari scored the only goal of the shootout as the Milwaukee Admirals slipped past the Manitoba Moose 4-3 on Sunday in American Hockey League action.

Adam Payerl, Pontus Aberg and Frederick Gaudreau supplied the offence in regulation for the Admirals (16-8-1). Juuse Saros turned aside 25 shots for the win in net.

Josh Morrissey, Ryan Olsen and Jay Harrison had goals for Manitoba (6-14-3), the AHL affiliate of the Winnipeg Jets. Eric Comrie kicked out 34 shots through regulation and overtime.

Milwaukee scored once on four power plays while the Moose went 0 for 6.
