SWIFT CURRENT, Sask. - Tomas Vincour collected the game winning goal midway through the third period as the Edmonton Oil Kings defeated the Swift Current Broncos 5-2 on Saturday night in Western Hockey League action.
Vincour counted his fifth goal of the season to help Edmonton (5-2-2) score four unanswered goals in the come-from-behind victory. He added another into an empty net and rookie Cameron Maclise also scored an empty-netter for his first career WHL goal.
Brett Breitkreuz had the game-tying goal midway through the second period, while Oil Kings rookie Michael St. Croix scored his first of the season in the first.
Brad Hoban and Cody Eakin, with his team leading eighth of the season, replied for the Broncos (5-4-0).
Edmonton goaltender Cam Lanigan stopped 24 shots to improve his record to 2-0 on the season.
Broncos netminder Alexandre Sirard drops to 2-2 on the year after giving up three goals on 25 shots.
