And the 2004 Stanley Cup champion brought along a special guest, his son Gabriel, who served as the team's "Thunder Kid" before Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Final.

Gabriel Lecavalier skated out to center ice with the light-up hockey stick, igniting the crowd at Amalie Arena, as is the custom before Lightning games.

Gabriel was clad in dad's familiar No. 4 jersey.

Earlier this season, Lightning defenseman Dan Girardi's son, Landon, played the role of 'Thunder Kid' on his eighth birthday.
