Victoriaville's Nestrasil named CHL player of the week @NHLdotcom

TORONTO -Forward Andrej Nestrasil of the Victoriaville Tigres was named Canadian Hockey League player of the week Tuesday.

He had eight points (3-5) in three games last week. Taylor Procyshen of the Tri-City Americans was the WHL nominee for the award. John Tavares of the Oshawa Generals was the OHL nominee.

Torrie Jung of the Edmonton Oil Kings was named CHL goaltender of the week. Mike Murphy of the Belleville Bulls was the OHL nominee and Nicola Riopel of the Moncton Wildcats was the QMJHL nominee.
