MOOSE JAW, Sask. - Linden Vey scored three times as the Medicine Hat Tigers scored four straight goals en route to an 8-2 win over the reeling Moose Jaw Warriors in WHL play Wednesday night.
The Tigers opened the scoring with goals from Taylor Gal, Tyler Ennis and Vey, chasing starting goaltender Deven Dubyk from the net midway through the first period.
Ennis finished with a pair of goals and an assist for Medicine Hat (8-6-2-2), with Tristan King and Wacey Hamilton adding singles.
Ryley Grantham and Joel Broda answered for the Warriors (5-11-0-1), who have dropped six games in a row.
Medicine Hat's Ryan Holfeld stopped 16 of 18 shots for the victory.
Matthews and Dubyk combined to make 26 saves for Moose Jaw.
