Golden Knights start second season in show-stopping fashion

Cirque du Soleil, Lil Jon, showgirls and more lend a hand to raise banner

In Vegas, you don't just walk the puck out to center ice on opening night.

A Cirque du Soleil performer spun down from the ceiling and handed the puck to a skating golden knight.
It was brought to Lil Jon and Wayne Newton who did the honors, dropping the ceremonial first puck before the game, flanked by two showgirls with giant feathered headpieces with Golden Knights logos in the center.

The Golden Knights also raised their 2018 Western Conference champions banner to the rafters to commemorate their incredible inaugural season.
So, if you are wondering if the Golden Knights pre-game showmanship has lost a step starting its second season, the answer appears to be no.
