GOLDEN KNIGHTS (8-2-0) at RANGERS (3-7-2)

The Game

Goalie Maxime Lagace is expected to make his first NHL start for the Vegas Golden Knights against the New York Rangers at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday.

Lagace is the fourth goalie used by Vegas this season. Marc-Andre Fleury (concussion) and Malcolm Subban (lower body) are injured and did not travel with the Golden Knights on their six-game road trip. Lagace made his NHL debut Monday after Oscar Dansk was injured in the second period of a 6-3 loss to the New York Islanders.

With a win, Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist will move into sole possession of ninth place on the NHL's all-time list. His 407 wins are tied with Glenn Hall.

Players to watch

Golden Knights forward Jonathan Marchessault has three goals in his past four games.

Rangers forward Pavel Buchnevich has three goals in his past two games.
