NEW YORK-- Vegas Golden Knights forward Max Pacioretty has been fined $2,500 for slashing Chicago Blackhawks forward Alex DeBrincat during Game 4 of the teams' First Round series in Edmonton, the National Hockey League's Department of Player Safety announced today.

The incident occurred at 19:48 of the third period.

The money goes to the Players' Emergency Assistance Fund.
