Vause, Tassone score in third period as Broncos top Blades 2-1 @NHL

SASKATOON, Sask. - Taylor Vause scored the game winner as the Swift Current Broncos rallied to beat the Saskatoon Blades 2-1 in WHL action Sunday.

Down 1-0 heading into the third period, Matt Tassone scored at 2:36 to start the Broncos comeback.

Vause sealed the win two minutes later with a power-play goal as the fifth-place Broncos stayed in the Eastern Conference playoff hunt at 31-24-1-1.

Blades forward Walker Wintoneak scored in the second period as second-place Saskatoon dropped to 40-13-3-1.

Swift Current goaltender Travis Yonkman made 23 saves for the win, while at the other end Braden Holtby stopped 28.
