Jannik Hansen of Canucks out with fractured rib

Forward expected to miss 4-6 weeks @NHLdotcom

Forward Jannik Hansen of the Vancouver Canucks will be out 4-6 weeks because of a fractured rib.

He was injured during Vancouver's 6-3 loss at the Toronto Maple Leafs on Saturday and has not played since.

Hansen, 30, has two goals and four assists in 12 games. Last season he had NHL career-bests of 22 goals and 38 points in 67 games.

In 549 NHL games, all with the Canucks, he has 101 goals and 228 points.
