Poolman suspended two games for high-sticking

NEW YORK- - Vancouver Canucks defenseman Tucker Poolman has been suspended for two games, without pay, for high-sticking Colorado Avalanche forward Kiefer Sherwood during NHL Game No. 203 in Colorado on Thursday, Nov. 11, the National Hockey League's Department of Player Safety announced today.

The incident occurred at 10:19 of the third period. Poolman was assessed a match penalty.
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement and, based on his average annual salary, Poolman will forfeit $25,000.00. The money goes to the Players' Emergency Assistance Fund.
