The Canucks have won three consecutive games and have outscored their opponents 14-6 during that span. The streak started with a 5-3 win against the Predators at Rogers Arena.

Players to watch

Canucks forward Elias Pettersson has 10 points (three goals, seven assists) during a four-game point streak.

Predators forward Craig Smith has five points (three goals, two assists) in his past five games.

They said it

"Let's hope so because they're a team with a lot of character. They're a team that most guys went to the Stanley Cup Final, conference final and everything so you know they're a good team with a lot of character and they're going to come strong tonight. They're well-coached, they're experienced, so I'm expecting a very tough game." -- Canucks forward Antoine Roussel on if Vancouver can build on their win against the Predators on Dec. 6

"We have a team full of character individuals. Everybody steps up when we need them to. With [forwards Viktor Arvidsson and Filip Forsberg and defenseman P.K. Subban] all being out, we had a lot of guys step up. It just speaks to the depth of our team." -- Predators forward Kyle Turris
