Utica tops Manchester in Game 3 of Calder Cup Finals @NHLdotcom

Nicklas Jensen scored in the second period to help the Utica Comets to a 3-2 victory against the Manchester Monarchs in Game 3 of the Calder Cup Finals in Utica, N.Y., on Wednesday.

Manchester leads the best-of-7 series 2-1. Game 4 is in Utica on Friday (7 p.m. ET).

Utica, the American Hockey League affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks, took a 2-0 lead in the first period on goals by Cal O'Reilly and Alexandre Grenier, who each had a goal and an assist.

Adrian Kempe scored twice for Manchester, the AHL affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings.

Jacob Markstrom made 32 saves for Utica.

Manchester goalie Jean-Francois Berube made eight saves on nine shots in 7:51 before leaving the game with an injury. Patrik Bartosak made 27 saves in relief.
