Ulmer gets three assists and shootout winner as Spokane edges Tri-City 4-3 @NHLdotcom

SPOKANE, Wash. - Stefan Ulmer had a hand in all of the Spokane Chiefs' goals and notched the winning goal in the sixth round of the shootout as Spokane outlasted the Tri-City Americans 4-3 Saturday night in the Western Hockey League.

Mitch Wahl scored in regulation and found the net in the shootout for the Chiefs (12-4-0-3), who also got goals from Drayson Bowman and Seth Compton.

Jason Reese, Kruise Reddick and Taylor Procyshen replied for Tri-City (13-5-0-2). Mitch Fadden scored the Americans' only shootout goal.

Dustin Tokarski stopped 32 shots for Spokane, while Tri-City netminder Chet Pickard made 17 saves.
