Uher scores twice as the Chiefs beat the Americans 5-3 @NHLdotcom

SPOKANE, Wash. - Dominik Uher scored twice and set up one more as the Spokane Chiefs defeated the visiting Tri-City Americans 5-3 on Saturday in Western Hockey League action.

Blake Gal, Dylan Walchuk and Todd Fiddler also scored for the Chiefs (22-13-6), who picked up a point in their sixth straight contest.

Sam Grist, Drydn Dow and Brendan Shinnimin scored for the Americans (33-9-0) while Patrick Holland chipped in with two assists.

Mac Engel made 31 saves for the win as Ty Rimmer turned aside 26 shots in defeat.

Spokane went 2 for 4 on the power play while Tri-City went 0 for 5.
